Today’s WOD: Clean, Squats & Box Jumps

- 12x Front squat @ 135 lbs
- 15x Box jump (24 inch)
This was not a great workout for me. I was unable to clean the prescribed weight, so I had to bump it down to 115 lbs. However, at 115 lbs, I still was unable to maintain proper form, so I had to bump it down again to 95 lbs. Also, I still do not have the flexibility to do a proper rack position for the front squat. I ended up doing the last round as back squats with 95 lbs. My total time was 22:05 which includes the changing out of weight.
Today’s WOD: Bench Press & Front Squat

This workout, for me, was terrible. I did the squats first. It turns out that I do not have the flexibility in my arms to get a proper rack position, so I will be working on that. I had to do the last three sets of squats as back squats. So my weights for those were: 95lbs, 3 @ 95 lbs, 215 lbs, 205 lbs, and 225 lbs.
The bench also didn’t go so well for me. My weights for that were: 145 lbs, 145 lbs, 1 @ 155 lbs, fail, and 135 lbs. I hate when a workout goes bad. I shouldn’t have started so heavy on the bench press.
Oh well, something to work on.
